P&R Publishing is dedicated to publishing excellent books that promote biblical understanding and godly living as summarized in The Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms. Our titles range from popular books designed to help lay readers grow in Christian thought and service to academic works advancing biblical and theological scholarship. If you are interested in submitting a book idea or a manuscript in keeping with the mission stated above, P&R Publishing welcomes your proposal. The subject areas currently in our catalog are:

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL
  1. Even if your manuscript is complete, we require you to submit a proposal instead of the manuscript.
  2. All proposals must be received electronically. We will not respond to, or return, proposals submitted by mail.
  3. Please complete all parts of this submission form. A * indicates a required field
  4. You can expect a response to our evaluation of your proposal within one to three months.
Any expression of interest should not be understood as an offer to publish. While P&R is always looking for new qualified authors, only a very small percentage of unsolicited submissions are ever published.

* Tell us what makes your book a compelling read in 50 words or less

* Give us a summary of your book in 150 words

* Provide chapter summaries of how you develop themes and material in your book proposal.

* Include a file containing a table of contents and 2 or 3 sample chapters of your proposed book.

* What main points are you attempting to communicate?

* Provide a list and contact details of recognized authorities on the topic of this proposal who have read this proposal and who would be willing to offer prepublication comment.

Include any comments anyone has made already

* Tell us the books you see as competing with yours, and briefly explain why yours is better?

Which P&R Publishing titles are similar to your submission?

* Who do you see as the buyers of this book?

* Which category best describes your submission


* Is the manuscript finished?
