About

What we believe shapes the way we live. They way we live reveals our convictions about God, the world, and our place in it.

We see many happy reminders that our Father made this world and everything good in it. But we also see painful reminders of sin distorting what he has made. As My Father’s World shows, all is not lost—our Father is at work in his world and in us.

Endorsements

“Articulates a Christian perspective on topics as diverse as evangelism and evolution, shopping and science. Readers will not only gain wisdom from his conclusions, but will also learn to think Christianly.”

—Charles W. Colson

“In his biblically faithful and culturally sensitive observations, Ryken joins a long line of Reformed luminaries who have shown how ‘every inch of creation’ (Abraham Kuyper) belongs to Jesus Christ.”

— Mark A. Noll

“Brilliant reflections on social and ethical issues facing Christians. Neither alarmist nor super-spiritual, but sane, balanced, and full of wisdom. Each of these stands on its own, but the cumulative effect reveals a whole greater even than the sum of the parts.”

—William Edgar

“Ryken knows how to engage the mind by going straight to the truth with clarityand finesse.”

—Rosemary Jensen
